Maintanence
Gilasi is less porous than marble or concrete but still requires periodic care.
Blue Pearl seals Gilasi with a penetrating sealer. For extra protection add a light coating of pure bees or carnuba car wax to keep Gilasi in mint condition over the years.
The best way to maintain Gilasi is to wipe up spills as they occur and use a mild non-acidic non abrasive cleaner (any stone countertop cleaner or Ivory Soap is best).
There is nothing in Gilasi that can burn although hot pots or pans may compromise the sealer so it is recommended to use trivets.
