10 Year Granite Countertop Warranty
Your Blue Pearl Granite countertop is backed by our 10 year limited warranty.
General Guidelines
Although Granite is porous and can stain, Blue Pearl covers all food and beverage related stains occurring during the first ten years following the date of the original installation, provided, however , that all other stains such as, but not limited to silicone, oils, paint and putty oils, acidic cleansers will not be covered under the warranty at any time.
Blue Pearl warrants you, the owner of the original installation of Natural Granite Countertop, that upon following the terms and conditions, Blue Pearl, at its option, will repair or replace, without charge, your natural granite countertops, provided that it is determined that the product has failed due to a defect in fabrication or installation during the first ten years from the installation date.
To activate the warranty you must register within 90 days of installation date of your countertops via internet and complete the short registration.
This warranty covers granite installations that have been maintained according to the following recommendations:
- Clean spills immediately
- Use a PH Neutral or Non acidic cleaner, preferably one formulated for granite
- To insure against staining, a sealer can be applied as often as desired, once a year for most types of granite.
- We do not recommend use of ammonia or bleach.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by physical, chemical or other abuse, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, scratches or chips, settling of cabinets or foundation, fire or weather, commercial uses, installation performed by others, exterior installations, showers or tub surrounds, fireplaces, improper care, vandalism, the dropping of heavy objects on the countertops, or honed granites.
Should Blue Pearl elect to replace your countertop the warranty will continue from the original date of installation and not from the date of repair or replacement.
Except as provided in this limited warranty, Blue Pearl shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss of direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product in residential application covered by this warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover any additional or supplemental repairs or modifications, such as, for example, any plumbing, electrical, tile or wall surface modifications that may be necessary to repair or replace granite covered under this limited warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover products not paid in full within 30 days of installation.
This limited warranty does not cover products that you, the customer, decide you do not like after the installation including color, veining, fissures, water lines, surface mark, finish, edging style or selections based on personal preferences.
To obtain service under this limited warranty, you must contact Blue Pearl. To qualify for service you must provide sales receipt or proof of full payment.
